Job description:

 
Summary:
The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations by developing and implementing policies and programs at five manufacturing locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
· Conduct workplace inspections and audits.
· Design and deliver safety training programs and sessions.
· Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to prevent accidents and injuries.
· Evaluate and manage hazardous waste management programs.
· Stay up to date on relevant regulations and ensure compliance.
· Maintain and analyze safety records and data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
· Manage emergency response plans and procedures.
· Conduct regular safety meetings at all five locations either in person or via teams meeting in accordance with current regulations.
 
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or related field
Experience:
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a related field
· Familiarity with current environmental, health, and safety regulations
· Experience in designing and delivering safety training programs and sessions.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Experience and competence working in a Windows based PC environment utilizing MS products, such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel

Job Description Title: Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Clerk
Reports to: Plant Manager

Summary:
Receiving of incoming shipments, Inspection of incoming shipments and preparation of all outgoing shipments including completion of all necessary shipping documents. Maintain all warehouse functions and areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Inspect incoming orders, fill out appropriate paperwork and provide pictures as necessary.
  • Shipping and receiving of goods, making sure all packing slips and other pertinent documents are forwarded to the office on a timely basis.
  • Document all discrepancies and or damage on packing slips or bills of lading. Provide a picture of the area in question to Customer Service, Quality, or Management.
  • Check product to be shipped against work orders to ensure correct items and quantities are being shipped to the right customers/suppliers.
  • Prepare bills of lading, manifests and other shipping documents as required and forwarding appropriate documents to the office.
  • Packaging of products in a manor to prevent shipping damage.
  • Retain customer shipping containers for return of remanufactured product to customer.
  • Perform housekeeping duties in shipping/receiving and adhere to established safety practices and policies.
  • Maintain warehouse area to keep it organized and neat in appearance. Area needs to be clear of any clutter or debris.
  • Find, identify and move rolls as requested from Customer Service or Management.
  • Maintain accurate and adequate inventory of consumable items and rolls.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Previous shipping and receiving and/or warehouse experience is desirable.
Must be able to operate gas and electric forklifts.
Experience with overhead crane is preferable.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Certifications, and Licenses:
  • Working with personal computers in a shipping/receiving environment.
  • Knowledge of standard shipping and receiving operations and associated documentation
  • Knowledgeable about truck line operation and general freight handlers is preferred.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Order Entry
 
· Service customer base by responding to requests, taking and entering orders, processing paperwork, releasing products and maintain price schedules.
· Purchase order entry and submission to various vendors.
· Interfaces with Production Manager to maintain communication and schedule product shipments on time.
· Use, maintain and update company databases currently (Plex) in order to track all sales activity as well as identify and document key decision-makers, interests, opportunities, and expectations.
· Prioritize workload and use of available resources within budget and time constraints.

Customer Service

· Resolve customer complaints, which may be quality, pricing, or delivery related, while balancing the interests of both the customer and Aalberts Surface Treatment.
· Exhibits desirable and appropriate professional behavior, works in a safe manner and models company values.

Sales Support

· Interact with Sales Managers to ensure good communication on customer or company issues.
· Provide quotations
